ReVamped Dance Company & many other hot dance crews from Milwaukee will be performing tonight! ReVamped (formerly known as Remix) is under the direction of Richard “Buda” Brasfield. I met Buda when I joined Remix Dance Co. in 2011. Buda and many of the dancers later became my back up dancers & singers when I started singing professionally. Euphoria Dance Studio (formerly known as Freestyle Dance Studio) is my dance home. Anybody a part of these groups knows how much we support one another. So I had to help spread the word about tonight’s show. I haven’t had the privilege of seeing his NEW group perform yet, BUT I know anything Buda puts his touch on is HOTT! He never seizes to amaze me with his choreography, performance ability, energy & PASSION! Please support my fellow dancers tonight if you are in the Milwaukee area. I wish I could be there to see my city get down tonight! Wishing Hype & everybody performing a great show! ReMix Dance Company was founded in February of 2006. We are a hip hop based dance company aspiring to share our work by taking and seeking any opportunities possible. The company has also hosted multiple workshops within the Milwaukee dance community. ReMix is consisted of multicultural, disciplined, and aged members that aim to inspire the public through their movement partnered by music. This has led the company to establish their name within Milwaukee’s dance community. ReMix has had opportunities to perform throughout their home base Milwaukee, Wisconsin along with traveling to other cities within the Midwest. Some opportunities include opening for, “Dance2XS Chicago,” for their 2008 Summer Series at Danceworks Inc., Fashion Revolution’s opening act for numerous years, performing at Monsters of Hip Hop Chicago Showcase, participating in a flash mob for Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s clothing line with Kohl’s Corporation, Danceworks Inc. “Ignite,” in July 2013 hip hop showcase. Since ReMix has been established, the company has been very dedicated to performing their work. In 2013, the company took a hiatus to change the vision for the company and by February 2014 they started rehearsing again under new artistic director, Richard Brasfield and a new name “ReMix-Revamped.” Under his direction he plans to continue to keep the company performing as well as competing. Since coming out of hiatus, the company has booked multiple performances alongside of producing their own evening length show very soon!!!!….Stay tuned for more details. ~
